Community Event Planning 101

Looking to plan an event but not sure where to even start? Or feeling hung up on a challenge like your budget, city permits, or flyer design?

Join us for this virtual interactive workshop where we’ll walk through the many facets of event organizing together and leave with a concrete plan of action to move forward. Facilitated by Drusilla Cowan (they/them), Co-founder of Hot Stuff Studios and Community Development Manager at Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts. Dru has years of experience organizing events and managing local creative and performance spaces. They organized over 100 intimate events + workshops for Hot Stuff Studios, and supported the organization of dozens of other high profile events in their career.
